Cookie Policy

This document explains what types of cookies and tracking technologies our e-commerce platform may set on your device.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small piece of information that is downloaded to your device when you visit a website. We use several different types of cookies in our online store, including mandatory, user experience and advertising cookies. Cookies make your visit experience better by remembering, for example, your login or the currency you have selected in the store.

This means that you do not have to provide the same information each time you visit our website, or when you move from one page to another in our online store. Cookies also tell us, among other things, whether this is your first time on our website.

WHAT COOKIES DO WE USE AND WHY?

Some cookies are essential for you to use our site. This means that information you enter on the site (such as your name or address) and that the site remembers this information if you move from page to page within our site.

We also use functional cookies to remember choices you may have made, such as choosing a currency or language version on our website.

For example, authentication cookies are functional cookies that we use during your visit or on subsequent visits if you have chosen to do so. Functional cookies include:

  • Security cookies associated with the user, which exist, among other things, to detect multiple failed login attempts. These cookies are used purely to increase the security of our service.
  • Multimedia cookies, which exist only to store technical data needed to display images and videos (including what quality of images we can offer you).
  • Load balancing cookies are only used for the duration of your visit so that we can identify which server to distribute the load you are performing.
  • Cookies that modify the user experience are used to remember any choices you have made, even if you move from page to page within our site.

Cookies are purely for statistical purposes and are anonymized, meaning they cannot directly identify you. The following measurement cookies may be used on the site:

  • First-party cookies - These cookies are used to evaluate the number of users on the site, to improve the site, and to take into account, among other things, the most used search terms that lead to the site. These cookies are NOT used for online marketing, for example. Shopify uses these cookies only to improve the website experience for you.
  • Third-party analytics cookies - [We use Google Analytics and other third-party analytics services to collect information about how users use our site. These cookies "remember" the actions you have taken on previous pages and how you have used the site. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit Google 's information page . Instructions on how to opt out of these cookies can be found below.]

[Advertising cookies are used on our site to tailor content and marketing to you. These cookies remember, among other things, which pages you visited in our online store and possibly other information you have shared with third parties. Although these cookies track your behavior on the site, they typically do not identify you. Without these cookies, our advertising would not be as relevant to you.

Finally, Social and Content cookies, which are used by many different parties. We use these features to provide you with a better user experience, but they may also collect information about how you use the site. These cookies are generally only used for analytics, content marketing and/or market research.]

HOW LONG DO COOKIES REMAIN ON MY DEVICE?

The lifespan of a cookie depends on whether it is a "persistent" or "session" cookie. Session cookies only last for the duration of your visit, while persistent cookies last until they expire or you delete them from your device. Most of the cookies we use are persistent cookies and expire between 30 minutes and two years after they are downloaded to your device. Instructions on how to control cookies can be found in the next section.
